HIV and GI system problems

The gastrointestinal system (GI or digestive system) is the group of organs in the body that digests food and picks up (absorbs) the nutrients your body needs. The GI system is made up of the mouth, esophagus (the tube leading from the mouth to the stomach), stomach, pancreas, liver, gallbladder, small intestine, and large intestine.
