Patient assistance programs (PAPs) are sponsored by drug companies that make HIV medicines. PAPs can save you money on prescription medicines. Some programs even give you medicines free or at a very low cost. Each drug company has its own rules for who can get help from its PAP. Rules are usually based on how much money you earn. More help is offered to people who make less money. But everyone who does not have prescription medicine insurance is offered a discount.
GlaxoSmithKline has a PAP called GSK for You. It offers ways to save on the cost of prescriptions. To learn more about this program and to find out how to receive help, call this toll-free number: 1-866-GSK-For-U (1-866-475-3678), or go to www.GSKforYou.com.
